Position Details :

  • GP VMO or CMO In Charge
  • Covering : ED and Inpatient unit admissions.

Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

This hospital is situated on the Northern Tablelands, in the New England region of New South Wales (NSW), 570 km from Sydney. It is known as the Celtic country because of its early Scottish settlers.

This is a public hospital, with less than 50 beds and an emergency department. There are visiting psychology and psychiatry services, as well as Community Health and Community Mental Health services on the hospital campus.

The nearest domestic airport is 100 km from the hospital. For those driving, please note that the town is a 6-hour drive from Sydney and 5.5 hours from Brisbane.
