Sustainable future

Join us in shaping Australia's cleaner energy future—where your work matters, your ideas are valued, and your growth is supported by genuinely good people who bring out your best. Together, we're building stronger communities and a more sustainable tomorrow.

We're entering an exciting phase of growth, and we're looking for a Program Planning Analyst to help us lead the way.

As the Program Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of AusNet's Transmission Maintenance Program.

You will design the annual preventative maintenance program and supervise the corrective maintenance program for the Transmission Operations and Maintenance Service Agreement (TOMSA).

This hybrid role (Office / WFH) is based in Southbank, Melbourne, and sits within our Field Operations & Maintenance team with our Transmission line of business team.

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

  • Design the annual Preventative Maintenance Program covering primary, secondary, communications, and lines assets. The program has an annual value of circa. $15M, covers 25,000 jobs, and is delivered by approximately 120 field resources.
  • Oversee the proposed costs and delivery timelines for the Corrective Maintenance plan.
  • Secure alternate funding for significant works and alternate delivery partners as required.
  • Review the delivery partners' work planning and scheduling practices to ensure efficient and effective program delivery.
  • Produce reports and analytics to track delivery partner performance and suggest improvements in partner planning, scheduling, and works delivery.
  • Perform assurance reviews to ensure compliance with quality, process, and data standards, support contractor audits, and quickly resolve service provider issues.
  • Contribute to the Continuous Improvement agenda by proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions to ensure efficient and effective management of the TOMSA.

You don't need to tick every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

  • Demonstrated experience in a field delivery, engineering, or contract management role.
  • Experience with SAP ERP and data analytics tools and techniques required.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to a range of stakeholders.
A real place to belong.

We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives, and diversity in our team. Engage and connect through our social club, family day, wide range of events, or by joining one of our Employee Network Groups.

We believe in more than just competitive pay. Here's what sets us apart:

  • Flexibility: whether this is hybrid work, flexible hours, or part-time arrangements, we'll work with you to help balance work and life.
  • Leave: more than typical personal leave and a generous 14 weeks of paid parental leave, with no minimum service.
  • Community giving: a paid day to volunteer with our social impact partner, Foodbank, or for a cause that matters to you.
  • Perks: we offer all the other perks you've come to expect like purchased leave, income protection insurance, novated leasing, corporate discounts, private health cover discounts, and more.

As an industry in transformation, we're excited by the possibilities ahead.

So, if you're passionate about our purpose and committed to making real progress, bring your energy and join AusNet. Together, we can shape a new way forward
