To provide exceptional customer service and comprehensive Maintenance services to the client and the contract. In order to be successful in the role, it is key that the Shift Technicians understand procedures, processes, and operate them to the required standards.

We are looking for a minimum Certificate III Electrical / Electrotechnology electrician non-restricted license.

• On-site full-time at the client's Data Center Facilities Operations
• Work arrangement: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (between 5:30 am - 5:30 pm roster)
• Site location: Ultimo, Sydney

• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out with regard to Health and Safety, business risk, and uptime criteria
• Maintain high standards of response to Asset performance and handle abnormal conditions proficiently
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HV and LV systems, associated plant, and HVAC systems as per work orders
• Monitor BMS for alarms and running conditions
• Conduct building walk-rounds, take meter readings from UPS, PDU, and other electrical equipment
• Investigate faults, identify root causes, and implement remedies
• Prepare timely service and incident reports
• Ensure repairs comply with regulations
• Assist with equipment installation and asset data capture
• Participate in emergency call-out roster, including weekends and absences
• Develop understanding of building infrastructure and functions
• Communicate effectively through meetings, reports, and correspondence
• Act as point of contact during significant events or escalations
• Participate in business continuity plans as required
• Ensure compliance with data centre operations and CBRE policies
• Maintain customer focus and strong relationships with key contacts
• Manage contractors and suppliers to high standards
• Promote CBRE values and professional image onsite
• Manage additional tasks as directed by the client
• Escalate matters promptly and provide relief to the Shift Lead when needed

• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members
• Onboard new employees and promote best practices
• Maintain positive client relationships
• Manage team performance and address underperformance
• Participate in team meetings and activities
• Promote teamwork within the team and contract

• Handle QHSE administrative tasks
• Manage work system reports and hazards
• Ensure compliance with training requirements

• Handle supplier quotes and internal system uploads
• Continuously improve quality, service, and efficiency
• Engage in process improvements
• Be a reliable expert resource in critical situations

Flexibility to work outside core hours may be required.

• Understanding of safety code requirements and experience with Risk Assessments and Control Measures
• Experience maintaining critical environments and temperature control systems
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers, including Feeders, Transformers, Generators, UPS, Battery banks, PDU, HVAC, Fire systems, etc.
• Experience with maintenance scheduling and subcontractor management
• Proficiency with ticketing or workflow management systems
• Experience managing escalations and emergencies
• Current NSW Electrical License
• Good building services knowledge and customer relationship skills
• Understanding of permit systems, technical drawings, CMMS, and BMS systems
