The AMA Collision Tingalpa site offers Car-O-Liner welding, pulling and measuring equipment, speed benches, 2-post lift, floor rack, dust extractors, two Lowbake paint ovens, Glasurit refinishing products, and good, clean working conditions. The team works together and shares free BBQ and pizza lunches every month. The site is easy to access from public transport and the Gateway Motorway (M1), with room for staff parking.

The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for an Apprentice Spray Painter to join our team at AMA Collision Tinglapa. This position is permanent. Monday to Friday. You will be supported by our skilled team and acquire the knowledge of an automotive workshop and begin learning the step-by-step process of prepping, mixing, refinishing of automotive spray painting, gaining your trade in Automotive Refinishing.

  • Colour match vehicle
  • Prep vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Prime vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Buff and denib vehicle as per Job Sheet
  • Upon request carry out minor/small repairs as per Job Sheet.
