We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing construction site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and working closely with project teams to ensure successful project execution. As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day site operations and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring that the site runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of tasks.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety standards on-site, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical advice and guidance to site teams, resolving any engineering challenges that may arise.
  • Project Monitoring: Track the progress of construction activities, identify potential delays or issues, and take corrective actions as needed to stay on schedule.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, safety logs, and progress documentation. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Materials Management: Oversee the supply and use of materials, ensuring they meet project requirements and are used efficiently on-site.
  • Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for on-site client and stakeholder communications, ensuring expectations are met and issues are promptly addressed.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in large-scale civil or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management, and safety regulations.
  • Experience in coordinating site teams and managing subcontractors.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant engineering certifications (e.g., White Card, First Aid, and others as required).
  • Previous experience in tunnelling, civil infrastructure, or similar projects would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations in the construction sector.
