The Opportunity
Bring your passion for Pharmacology to UniSC We seek an inspiring educator to develop and deliver engaging Introductory Pharmacology courses for Allied Health and Biomedical Science students. Based within the Biomedical Science discipline, you'll also contribute to our vibrant research culture by building a complementary research program aligned with our strengths. If you're ready to shape future health professionals and make an impact through teaching and research, we want to hear from you.

You will :
- contribute to pharmacology teaching practices;
- undertake high-impact research;
- supervise honours students and HDR candidates;
- assist in research grant applications; and
- participate in governance, coordination, and activities enhancing student experience.
About you :
Our ideal candidate has expertise in pharmacology and a passion for teaching. Known for clear communication and a student-first approach, you create engaging, supportive learning environments. You have strong pedagogical knowledge, use innovative teaching methods, and are skilled in assessment and feedback. You adapt to diverse learning needs and stay current with educational trends, committed to ongoing professional growth through research, workshops, and collaboration.
You will possess :
- completion or near-completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant field or equivalent;
- proven effective teaching record and curriculum development experience;
- membership and connections with relevant professional bodies;
- established research activity aligned with the position level; and
- participation in academic development activities and a desire for continuous improvement.
Desirable
- experience with academic administrative functions, e.g., course coordination.
