CMV Group is recruiting for an intensive 4-year apprenticeship program at CMV Truck & Bus Derrimut, Victoria. Commencement date February 2026.

CMV Truck & Bus are the Victorian dealer for Volvo Group Australia (Mack, Volvo and UD Trucks). The company operates as a privately owned Australian business with a long-standing history and a network of dealerships, workshops and parts service.

About CMV Truck & Bus Derrimut

CMV Truck & Bus Derrimut provides access to state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and a modern workshop, with training that covers diagnosing, overhaul, repair, inspection and testing of a wide range of trucks and buses. Apprentices will learn about diesel engines, electrical systems and brakes, with hands-on experience in a dedicated training institute.

Training and Apprenticeship

We offer an intensive 4-year apprenticeship program that combines theory and on-the-job components as part of the Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology. You will gain the knowledge, skills and applications to begin a career as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician working on Mack Trucks, UD Trucks, Volvo Truck and Volvo Buses onsite. The training institute is designed to deliver on-the-job elements and to support gaining a TAFE qualification through hands-on experience.
