Overview

The Opportunity

The Customer Business Executive (CBE) owns the account relationship and how we provide drive and support. Success is defined by creating a true partnership with customers by developing a deep understanding of their business and strategic vision, building relationships across the customer's organisation, and developing strong business cases and value propositions.

Key elements include understanding and working to budget cycles and delivering value through Gentrack's solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Own the relationship between Gentrack and our customers, mapping how Gentrack's solutions support the customer's business and vision.
  • Lead Gentrack teams to support the development and implementation of strategy.
  • Own account reporting, profitability, governance and visibility across the account and projects.
  • Manage and execute product presentations, value propositions and bids as required.
  • Develop, execute, and lead account strategies, forecasts and product roadmap insights.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with key partners and alliances important to your customers.
  • Indirect leadership of bid teams and sales teams including professional services, solution architects, pre-sales and executive roles contributing to account plans.
What we're looking for
  • You have a genuine interest in understanding our customers' business and advocating for them.
  • You can translate customer goals and objectives into a value proposition supporting those goals.
  • You can align value and price to structure creative commercial offers and lead the team that will deliver for customers.
  • At least 3 years of utility industry experience with an established network in Energy Retail, Distribution and/or Water, or at least 3 years in enterprise software solutions within utilities.
  • Proactive ownership and willingness to lead teams and people.
  • Team player mindset with a culture of sharing and continuous learning.
