In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, providing therapy in both individual and group settings whilst developing appropriate discharge plans within a multidisciplinary team.

You will be a Physiotherapist, with experience in the Rehabilitation and sub-acute medical setting preferred.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent with AHPRA registration.
  • The ability to apply clinical reasoning, sound judgement and complex decision making.
  • The ability to devise and evaluate evidence-based practice within assessment and treatment protocols.
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience (preferred).
  • Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated high level time management and ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/ caseload.
  • Previous experience working in an acute or rehabilitation hospital setting.
  • Applicants must be flexible, team oriented and prepared to hit the ground running.

Remuneration: Salary commensurate with experience

The Hospital

Nambour Selangor Private Hospital is a small 4 ward hospital with a 34-bed inpatient rehabilitation ward, a subacute medical ward, small surgical unit and a busy day rehabilitation department. We have a large Allied Health Multi-disciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Exercise Physiology and Allied Health Assistants. We offer a flexible work environment within a supportive team environment.

Requirements
  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
