Our team is committed to delivering high-quality solutions and exceptional customer service, and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As an Experienced Electrical Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in a range of commercial properties across Sydney. This is a hands-on role where you'll apply your extensive knowledge of electrical systems to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our clients' electrical infrastructure.
You will be working within a dynamic team and will be required to independently manage and deliver projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. A company vehicle will be provided to enable travel to client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical inspections, maintenance, and repairs in commercial buildings.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, providing solutions for electrical issues across various systems.
- Perform testing and inspections of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Install and maintain electrical systems, including power, lighting, and data systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports on diagnostics, repairs, and installations.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
- Provide technical support and advice to junior technicians as required.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian electrical standards, regulations, and safety practices.
- Manage and maintain the tools and equipment required for electrical service tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Service Technician, with a strong focus on commercial buildings.
- Current Electrical Licence (NSW).
- Demonstrated expertise in electrical fault-finding, repair, and installation in commercial settings.
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and advanced electrical equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Full NSW driver's licence (Company vehicle provided).
- Ability to work outside of standard hours when required, for emergency or urgent repairs.
