Our client urgently requires a Communications Advisor for a 36-month contract in Buderim.

The Communications Advisor will support our Planning and Delivery business areas within the Stakeholder Management team. This role involves developing and implementing communication and engagement strategies to support transport infrastructure projects. The position provides high-level communication services and advice to senior leadership, project management, technical and professional staff on community engagement, stakeholder relationships, issues, and media management.

Skills and experience required include:

  • Providing communication advice and support in areas such as communication strategy, risk assessment, stakeholder and community engagement, and media and issues management related to transport infrastructure projects.
  • Developing and maintaining ongoing strategic relationships with government agencies, project partners, contractors, community and interest groups, and internal and external clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, policies, legislation, regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Possessing or willing to obtain International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Engagement certification.

Government experience would be highly regarded.
