Aberlea Inc. is a respected, community-owned residential aged care and seniors living provider based in Mortlake and Timboon, Victoria. With deep local roots and a bold, Strategic Masterplan underway, we are entering an exciting phase of growth and renewal.
As part of our governance renewal process, we are seeking up to three (3) new Board Directors to join us in delivering high-quality, sustainable and community-connected care.
We are particularly interested in values-driven individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Clinical care and quality governance
Risk, compliance or regulatory oversight
Human resources / industrial relations
Capital works, infrastructure or project delivery
We welcome applications from across Victoria, including metropolitan Melbourne, from individuals who can bring fresh perspective, strategic insight and a strong alignment with Aberlea's community purpose. While prior board experience is highly regarded, we are equally open to first-time directors who bring the right values, mindset and capabilities.
In 2026, Board meetings are proposed to be held quarterly, with two of those sessions conducted in person in Mortlake. Committee roles are active and all directors are expected to contribute meaningfully to governance and strategic development.
