About Our Client

Our client, operating in the property services space, was recently acquired and has since received a significant injection of investment. The business is now set to scale in the months ahead and streamline its operating model to be fit for purpose as a market leader. As a result the new consolidated group corporate function which will include the creation of a completely new finance team

Job Description

With a flexible group accounting structure, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape your responsibilities around your strengths - allowing you to truly make the position your own and grow with the business.
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Maintaining financial records and ledgers
  • Supporting the team with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Assisting with tax returns and compliance
  • Supporting the team with auditing processes
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Assistant Accountant Should Have
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
