Remuneration

$42.15 - $59.04 per hour + 12% Super + Salary packaging benefits

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, person-centred speech therapy to elderly clients living in our communities.
  • Proactively screen and assess clients to formulate and maintain up-to-date, individualised care plans.
  • Maintain open and fluid communication within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Refer clients to appropriate healthcare professionals when necessary.
  • Liaise compassionately with clients and their families.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
  • Experience as a Speech Pathologist/Therapist, preferably in aged care; graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Clear understanding and experience with contemporary speech pathology theories and practices.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and a road-worthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance as required.
  • Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
