Western Suburbs State Special School are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Guidance Officer to join our Student and Staff Support Team starting 22 January 2026.

In this permanent role, you will provide counselling, assessment, and individualised support to students, while working closely with families, staff, and external agencies to enhance engagement and wellbeing.

About The Role

As the Guidance Officer, you will apply expertise in assessment, intervention, and counselling to address diverse student needs, build strong partnerships within and beyond the school, and contribute to whole-school programs that foster inclusion, engagement, and ethical practice.
