About the Role:

The Food & Beverage Attendant ensures guests receive excellent service across various settings including bars, restaurants, room service, and events. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and drinks, maintaining a welcoming environment, and supporting the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and seat guests, assist with seating arrangements, and provide menus.
  2. Describe menu items, answer questions, and take accurate orders, noting dietary restrictions.
  3. Serve food and beverages promptly and according to standards.
  4. Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
  6. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and correct food preparation.
  7. Handle payments accurately and efficiently.
  8. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience.
  9. Address guest requests and accommodate needs.
  10. Follow safety and hygiene protocols, maintaining a safe work environment.
  11. Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training provided).
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
