Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

This 52-bed facility provides acute care, emergency care and maternity services for a major city district in northern NSW. It recently had a $60 million redevelopment where a new purpose built facility, with a connection to the existing hospital, brings all acute health care services under one roof including : the main entry and reception, Emergency, Medical Imaging, Renal Dialysis, Inpatient Unit, Maternity, Paediatrics, Day Surgery and Operating Theatre.

Nestled in a picturesque valley beside the Macintyre River of NSW, this region is renowned for its proud pioneering history, its beautiful restored buildings, and the production of many fine gemstones. The closest airport is one hour and 20 minutes away by road. The nearest major city is Brisbane, 5 hours away (440km).
