Subcontractor Gardener

Subcontractor Gardener role at ECHO Community Services. This is a subcontractor position working with ECHO's Service Team Leader to provide gardening services to our clients.

Introduction: Our purpose is to enrich the lives of people living independently in their own homes through connection to services and community.

• Mowing, edging and trimming lawns and gardens at various residential locations as required.
• Pruning and maintaining a variety of plants, trees and shrubs, and planting when required.
• Weeding where required for safety purposes.
• Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools.
• Ensuring the grounds are safe, tidy and clean for all clients.
• Reporting safety hazards and providing feedback on related concerns to the office in a timely manner.

• Have own ABN.
• Have own public liability and indemnity insurance policies.
• Have own reliable equipment and tools to provide service.
• Have own PPE.
• Have strong focus on safety for themselves and those around them when providing services.
• Have a reliable vehicle registration and current driver's license.
• Have current National Police Clearance within the past three months, and able to maintain this.
• Solid customer service skills and experience in providing gardening services to a wide range of clients within the community.
