
Health Martech Capability Manager

Due to business growth, we are looking for an experienced MarTech Capability Manager to join us on a 12 month fixed term basis in this newly created role. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the strategy for Medibank's marketing and experience technology ecosystem, with a specific focus on maximising the value of the Amplar Health MarTech stack (Salesforce Health Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud). Blending technical expertise with product management and business analysis principles, this role will translate business needs into robust technical solutions, manage the platform roadmap and drive continuous improvement across the MarTech stack. While focused on the Amplar systems, the role requires applying expertise and driving innovation across the broader marketing and experience technology landscape within Medibank.
Day to day this role will see you- Deciding if your day is best spent working from home or the office (we don't go for mandated office attendance days here).
- Translate business requirements from stakeholders (Marketing, Digital, Clinical, etc.) into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and functional requirements.
- Drive the technical design and implementation of orchestrated, multi-channel patient / customer journeys leveraging the capabilities of the Amplar stack.
- Develop and own the strategic roadmap for the Amplar MarTech stack (Salesforce Health Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud) in alignment with business objectives for orchestrated journeys and single patient view.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for platform enhancement, new technology adoption, and process improvements across the wider MarTech ecosystem.
- Utilise platform-specific languages and tools (e.g., AmpScript, Server-Side JavaScript, SQL, Flow, Apex triggers where applicable) to implement complex use cases.
- Provide mentoring to the wider Platforms and Marketing teams.
- Taking time out to recharge – you might hit the pavement for a walking meeting with a colleague, pop out to a lunchtime gym class or take a mid morning meditation break.
First and foremost, you'll need to have significant demonstrated experience working in a Senior MarTech consulting role focussing on ensuring stakeholder business requirements are translated into quality outcomes combined with excellent project leadership abilities. You will have the confidence and credibility to provide advice to and influence senior stakeholders concerning all things MarTech, and the ability to work well within the technical team.
We are a highly regulated health environment, so if you have developed your experience within similar organisation / s this will be very highly regarded, though is not essential.
