Base pay range

A$134,481.00/yr - A$143,736.00/yr

PSCA, Level 7, $134,481 - $143,736 p.a. plus 11.5% Superannuation.

The Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Injury Management Framework is designed to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to the management of health, safety, wellbeing and injury management within the department. It aligns with the elements of the WorkSafe Plan and is compliant with the Code of Practice: Occupational Safety and Health in the Western Australian Public Sector and other legislative requirements.

We currently have an opportunity for a Manager Health, Safety and Wellbeing to join our valued People and Culture Branch (PCB) leadership team. This role is more than a position that addresses operational work health and safety responsibilities; it is for leading corporate management initiatives.

The Manager Health, Safety and Wellbeing provides strategic direction, leadership and management of the work health, safety and wellbeing functions and fosters an outcome focused, high performance safety and wellbeing culture where all legislative obligations are met through developing and maintaining productive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Selection Criteria

Applicants should demonstrate their ability to meet the following criteria as part of their cover letter and CV:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in providing health, safety and wellbeing programs and strategies, preferably in a complex and diverse organisation.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Considerable experience in developing and delivering policies, procedures, training, education and awareness programs relating to health, safety, wellbeing and injury management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex health, safety and wellbeing risks.
