Geotechnical Technician

• Observe contractor operations on-site and perform field soil, asphalt, and concrete tests under supervision
  
• Prepare accurate and detailed field reports with test results and observations
  
• Conduct basic lab tests on soil and concrete and document findings
  
• Evaluate site conditions and offer recommendations as needed
  
• Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and technical staff regarding construction issues
  
• Some construction or field-testing experience (preferred)
  

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Ability to read plans, follow specs, and write routine reports
  
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina (lifting up to 70 lbs, walking/standing all day)
  
• Valid, clean driver's license and willingness to pass background, drug, and driving-record screening
