Who will you be working with? This role reports to the Western Australia Business Manager.

Where is the position located? This role is based in Kewdale, Western Australia.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Comply with EHS & Quality requirements in accordance with Wabtec policy and procedures.
  2. Coordinate material movements for service jobs, manufacturing, and spares orders to maintain production workflow and meet customer delivery requirements. Open, maintain, and close manufacturing work orders.
  3. Raising RFQs, requisitions, and online orders for consumables and third-party works.
  4. Capture and prepare relevant information to maintain registers and reports.
  5. Coordinate stock takes and cycle counts.
  6. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for material requirements.
  7. Contribute to continuous improvement, lean, and 5S initiatives.
  8. Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customer contacts.
  9. Resolve issues and negotiate favorable outcomes professionally.
  10. Ensure the working environment is always maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  11. Take ownership of responsibilities and actively contribute to business performance goals, delivery timeframes, and customer satisfaction.
  12. Willing to work outside or beyond normal hours to support business requirements.
  13. Domestic or international travel may be required.
  14. Perform other related duties as required to support business needs.

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of related experience within a manufacturing or services environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Current Driver's license.
  • Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
  • Willing to obtain or currently hold First Aid and Fire Warden certifications.
