Rehabilitation Consultant - Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks).
• Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.
• Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
• Assist individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
• Complete a variety of assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries from motor vehicle accidents.

You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions and support them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Osteopathy
• Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or Full Professional Accreditation with ESSA
• Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
• Excellent time management skills – able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
• A desire to problem solve with the confidence to be innovative, use initiative and achieve results
• A passion for injury prevention, return to work and the associated health benefits
• A current driver licence and access to their own vehicle
