Salary: Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)

This is a 9-month fixed term, part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.

In addition to the core Education Support role, an arts component is incorporated to help support and engage children with special needs. Using creative disciplines such as visual arts, music, drama, and movement, you should create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that nurtures emotional, social, and cognitive development that builds on our students' unique interests and strengths. As a passionate teacher, you will lead these arts-based activities to enhance learning and foster communication, self-expression, and confidence while helping students develop the skills necessary for their future independence and success.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

  • Consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
