About the opportunity

As Australia's newest uranium producer, we're growing and looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the team on site.

Based at the Honeymoon mine in South Australia and reporting to the Contracts & Procurement Superintendent, you'll provide supply and logistics support for the onsite requirements of goods for mine operations.

You will own and be accountable for the delivery of safe, efficient and effective warehouse, logistics and inventory management.

This is an opportunity to use your experience and commitment to best practice, to make an important contribution to the efficient running of the warehouse and play a key role in improving efficiencies to deliver great service and support to our operations customers to ensure production targets are met.

The role will be FIFO from the Adelaide charter terminal direct to site or DIDO from Broken Hill on an 8:6 roster.

Responsibilities, you will:

• Ensure the safe operations of the warehouse and logistics function.
• Lead warehouse operations including receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch of goods.
• Manage inventory to ensure availability of reagents, critical spare parts, consumables and equipment for mobile and fixed plant.
• Coordinate deliveries with carriers and ensure timely receipt and dispatch of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory and supply records using the Pronto ERP system.
• Support the Maintenance team by ensuring parts are available to meet operational targets.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency.

About You

What you'll need:

• Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in the resources or manufacturing industries.
• Current forklift and drivers' licenses with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• A solid understanding and knowledge of warehouse and logistics systems and procedures.
• Experience in supervising a small team.
• Highly developed communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
• A strong work ethic, a solutions focused approach and a drive to achieve results.
• Proficiency in using the MS Office suite and ERP systems. (Pronto is preferred)

While not essential, a qualification related to supply chain or a trade qualification with relevant experience will be highly regarded.
