Field Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician

Your role will play a significant part in the company's growth and overall success by delivering quality service to our customers whilst performing scheduled maintenance and safety & function checks.

What you will do:

  • Servicing and repair of material handling equipment in a dedicated territory and customer base – Help Crown build positive customer experiences
  • Utilize the latest field-based mobile technology to manage your daily work schedule
  • Manage inventory on your Company allocated service van & at customer sites - Deliver a professional level of service
  • Gain experience working with Australia's top-tier customer base
  • Join the leading forklift service business in Australia – We are the largest forklift service provider in the country.
  • Complete an initial 8-week onboarding and industry-leading training program
  • Perform routine maintenance & complete service work – Reactive & Planned
  • Accurately maintain service records of all work performed

Typical Crown Technician Tasks and Duties:

  • Conduct customer-focused scheduled and breakdown services
  • Assist in preparing field-based quotes for customers
  • Maintain accurate service records and notes
  • Participate in training and development, including complex repair work
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies like automation and telematics
  • Follow industry trends and new product developments
  • Partner with the company to maximize sales and service opportunities
