Job: - Lead Cyber Security Architect - (Australian Citizens Only)

Location: - Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cyber Security Architect for an upcoming project with a government organization, on a long-term contract basis.

Required Skills

  • At least 5 years' experience in cyber security architecture, including security governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Minimum of five years' experience with Australian Government governance, focusing on ICT, policy/standards development, and documentation of frameworks.
  • Experience working in agile environments, with adaptability to project changes and stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience assessing risks and security standards in greenfield environments.
  • Proficiency in producing technical documentation and presenting to executives.
  • Comprehensive skills across all architecture domains (business, information, security, data, technology, integration, application).
  • Possession of tertiary qualifications in ICT or relevant industry certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Deep knowledge of cyber security architecture and best practices.
  • Experience as a cyber security architect utilizing Microsoft products and platforms.
  • Experience supporting digital transformations.
  • Ensure compliance with standards like PSPF, ISM, and Agency Risk Management Frameworks.
  • Develop and implement IT security standards, policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise at technical, business, and personal levels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Resolve complex IT issues and risks involving detailed activities.

  • Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1.
