Arup is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As part of our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative and large-scale projects, ensuring that we provide our clients with the best value from the ground up. You will engage in both the technical and client-facing aspects of geotechnical projects, helping to shape the future of infrastructure across Australia.

The Opportunity

• Communicate with clients and project engineers to understand project requirements.
• Plan, specify, and manage site investigations and laboratory testing programmes.
• Carry out research and investigations to assess ground conditions and contribute to the design process.
• Develop and implement site safety management plans and ensure their compliance during investigations.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, analyze data, and assist in the development of project-specific solutions.

Is this role right for you?

• A recognised tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in geotechnical design and construction.
• Technical competence in geotechnical design software (e.g., LPile, Plaxis2D & 3D, AutoCAD).
• Strong planning, organisational, and project management skills.
• The ability to develop successful client relationships and effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
