Full Time Cook | Applejack Hospitality Group | Sydney

Applejack Hospitality is seeking a full-time Cook to work at one of our 11 Sydney-based restaurants. Enjoy good working hours, great pay, and a positive work culture.

Applejack Hospitality runs some of Sydney's coolest bars and restaurants, including:

  • The Botanist, Kirribilli
  • The Butler, Potts Point
  • Bopp & Tone, CBD
  • Forresters, Surry Hills
  • RAFI, North Sydney
  • Taphouse, Sydney
  • UrbnSurf, Sydney Olympic Park

As a Full-time Cook, you will be responsible for your section, whether it be larder, grill, or pans, ensuring it is stocked, prepped, and ready for service. You will also need to stay on top of things during busy, high-volume services.

To be successful, you should be able to work well in a small team, possess strong technical skills, and have experience in modern bistro cuisine. The requirements include:

  • Holding a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery OR 2 to 4 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Previous experience in high-volume kitchens and A la Carte service
  • A hard-working, dedicated individual looking to advance their career
  • The ability to work a full-time hospitality roster
  • The capability to manage all kitchen sections—pans, grill, larder, and fryer

Salary & Benefits: Competitive starting salary dependent on experience; from $72,000 + Super for Cook/Commis Chef (Cook Grade 3). This is a great opportunity to work with a leading hospitality group with excellent career progression.
