We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented VP of Strategic Business Development to lead high-level growth initiatives, drive long-term revenue strategies, and expand market presence across targeted industries. This executive role requires a dynamic leader with deep experience in corporate strategy, complex deal-making, and executive-level client engagement. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic insight and hands-on execution capabilities to lead the organization into its next phase of growth.

Position ResponsibilitiesStrategic Growth Planning
  • Develop and implement long-range business development strategies aligned with corporate goals
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and potential acquisitions
  • Lead strategic planning sessions with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders
Market Expansion
  • Drive initiatives to enter new verticals and geographic markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external partners, customers, and influencers
  • Oversee market analysis and competitive intelligence to refine value propositions
High-Level Relationship Management
  • Represent the organization with clients, partners, and industry leaders at the executive level
  • Lead negotiations of major strategic deals and partnerships
  • Cultivate long-term relationships that result in high-value opportunities and sustainable revenue streams
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and strategic thinking
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, operations, and executive leadership teams to ensure alignment of goals and messaging
Prerequisites
  • 10+ years of executive-level experience in business development, strategy, or corporate growth roles
  • Proven track record of developing and executing multi-million-dollar growth initiatives
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and translate them into strategic actions
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent preferred
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
  • Certified Strategic Planner (CSP)
  • Executive Leadership Program Certifications (e.g., Wharton, Harvard Business School)
  • PMP or Six Sigma Black Belt
