Overview

Test Analyst role at Randstad Australia

Contract until October 9, 2026. This entry‑level position focuses on the SAP SuccessFactors implementation as part of a major transformation program for a large government department. This is an opportunity to start a career in testing under guidance from an experienced Test Lead.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Executing manual test cases and assisting with the creation of test scripts.
  • Logging and retesting defects using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.
  • Assisting with test data setup and environment maintenance.
  • Maintaining clear documentation, including test logs and defect summaries.
  • Working closely with project teams, including developers and business SMEs.
  • Attending and contributing to daily stand-ups and project meetings.
  • Supporting testing activities during key project milestones like mock loads and parallel payroll runs.
What We\'re Looking For
  • A recent graduate or diploma holder with foundational knowledge in software testing or business systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing principles.
  • Familiarity with HR systems or enterprise applications is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel or other reporting tools.
  • An eagerness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team.
