We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Perth Service Team. The successful candidate will be based out of the Forrestdale site.
This role involves applying technical knowledge and service experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment as well as a range of third-party items for Arjo customers within the broader aged care and acute care healthcare environments. You will play an important role in ensuring our customer's equipment is functional and safe to use for caregivers and residents/patients.
Responsibilities- Carry out maintenance, repairs and testing of Arjo's range of medical equipment and related third-party equipment
- Conduct routine scheduled servicing (preventative) and provide breakdown support (reactive)
- Provide technical solutions professionally within agreed time frames
- Provide accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired in Arjo's service ERP system
- Maintain and report spare parts stock accurately in Arjo's service ERP system
- Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy
- The role may require occasional regional WA travel to meet the needs of our large and growing customer base; primarily serving Perth metro areas
- Mechanical and/or Electronics background and aptitude
- 2-5 years' relevant field service experience, preferably within Healthcare or a service-related sector
- Proven problem solving ability and troubleshooting skills
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
- Strong time management and planning skills with ability to meet performance targets/KPIs
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service; well presented, confident and able to interact sensitively with staff and clients in healthcare environments
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Experience with small hand tools, soldering, power tools and test/inspection equipment
- Computer literacy; iPad familiarity advantageous
- Ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team
- Current WA driver's licence (Class C) is essential
- Vaccination against COVID-19 and current influenza vaccination is encouraged due to hospital/aged care facility work
