Job Title : Primary Teacher – KS1 or KS2

Location : St Leonards

Salary : £120 – £200 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date : September 2025

Contract Type : Full-Time, Long-Term

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a full-time Primary Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive school in St Leonards from September . Whether your expertise lies in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 , the school is open to placing you where your strengths can best support pupils' progress.

About the Role :

As a Primary Teacher , you will take on full classroom responsibilities, delivering high-quality lessons that foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative team and a school that values both personal and academic development.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary.
  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure every child thrives.
  • Support the overall school community and promote a positive, inclusive environment.

Requirements for Primary teacher :

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Have experience teaching in a primary setting ( KS1 or KS2 ).
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Be committed to providing a supportive and stimulating learning experience.
  • Have a full, up-to-date CV (with explanations for any gaps) and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
