About The Role

We are seeking experienced Digger/Dozer Operators to join our Blackwater team in a permanent, full time capacity on a 7/7 roster, day & night rotation. Our ideal candidate would have demonstrated experience in any of the following (or equivalent):

  • CAT D10
  • CAT D11
  • Hitachi EX3600
  • CAT 6060
  • Hitachi EX8000

About You
  • Current QLD Driver's Licence (essential)
  • Current Standard 11 Statement of Attainment (desired)
  • Current HA Report/Coal Board Medical (desired)
  • Transcripts demonstrating proven experience on one or more of the excavators listed
  • Identify and promote safe work practice, ensuring appropriate precautions are taken to reduce risk to both people, equipment and the environment

Blackwater Mine

Located in Central Queensland, Blackwater Mine is one of the state's largest coal mines, just 21 km from Blackwater. BUMA Australia has been handling truck and excavator pre-strip operations here since 2012, moving over 35 million BCM of material annually.

Our fleet includes Komatsu 930E and Caterpillar 789C haul trucks, paired with Hitachi EX8000, Caterpillar 6060, and Hitachi EX3600 excavators.
