Service: Star of the Sea LDC & Kindergarten
Role: Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)
Position: Permanent Part-Time (20 hrs in a week)
Location: Wondunna, Fraser Coast
Pays: $ $ Superannuation depending on your qualification and experience

This is a rare opportunity to join the established team at Star of the Sea LDC & Kindergarten, a 75-place service nestled within the scenic Fraser Coast and co-located with Star of the Sea Primary School.

Your Role as an ECT
  • Design and deliver an inclusive, engaging Kindergarten program aligned with the EYLF and QKLG.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues within a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Create and maintain a vibrant, aesthetically inspiring learning space.
  • Accurately document children's learning through observations, evaluations, and ongoing reflection.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent our service and uphold our values within the broader community.
  • Opportunity to act as the Responsible Person in the absence of the Centre Director.
What You'll Need
  • ACECQA-approved Bachelor, Graduate Diploma, or Master's in Early Childhood Education.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check - QLD).
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Law & Regulations.
  • Familiarity with behaviour guidance frameworks and inclusive practices.
