Clifford Park Special School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Deputy Principal to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both students and staff.
This leadership opportunity is well-suited to someone who is committed to supporting the smooth daily operation of a busy and dynamic environment, while upholding high expectations for learning and behaviour among students from Years 7 to 12.
The role is offered on a temporary basis of 30 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE), from 14 July 2025 until 2 April 2026, unless otherwise determined.

About The Role
As the Deputy Principal (Special Education), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Promote socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high expectations for both student and staff performance.
- Engage in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Build effective partnerships with students, parents, agencies, and community groups.
- Be future-oriented and strategic in planning and decision-making.
- Understand and apply policies and legislation relevant to the department.
- Manage departmental resources effectively to achieve school goals.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
