Join the Monadelphous Graduate Program and embark on a dynamic two-year journey to launch your engineering career. As a Graduate, you'll work on real projects, gaining hands-on experience in a Project Engineer role. You'll work both on-site and in the office between projects, collaborating closely with your team to gain experience in project delivery and management.
Regardless of your engineering discipline—Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or others—you'll gain valuable exposure to all areas of project engineering. You'll work on large-scale projects that integrate multiple disciplines, providing insight into how each contributes to overall success. This hands-on experience will help develop your understanding of project engineering within the resources sector.
Joining our Graduate Program offers a unique opportunity to fast-track your career with practical experience and strong support. As a Graduate, you will have:
- Opportunity to work on-site, gaining practical experience in project engineering.
- Ongoing support from a Project Manager, Supervisor, and Graduate buddy.
- Structured Learning & Development modules, workshops, and courses for ongoing growth.
- Regular catch-ups with the Graduate Team and networking opportunities at our annual Graduate Forum.
- Development of leadership skills and contribution to real-world projects that drive industry innovation.
- Participation in a formal Graduate Mentoring Program.
- Rotations through various business areas to broaden skills and explore different career paths, regardless of your background in Engineering or Construction Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Manage subcontractors across disciplines to align with project goals.
- Assist in preparing project estimates, tender submissions, and developing schedules.
- Support all project phases, including tendering, planning, execution, and HSE compliance.
- Work with the Operational team to ensure a team-oriented approach to project delivery.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budgets as required, ensuring effective execution.
What you'll bring:
- Australian or New Zealand Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or suitable Visa with work rights.
- An Engineering degree (Bachelor or higher) in Electrical and/or Electrical & Instrumentation, with previous relevant work experience through vacation work or similar in Australia or New Zealand.
- Ability to work on FIFO or DIDO from Perth, Brisbane, or Newcastle.
- Previous work experience in your field through internships or equivalent is highly desirable.
- A passion for hands-on work and the industry.
