We are seeking a Dental Assistant/Receptionist to work across our 1300SMILES Belgian Gardens and 1300SMILES North Shore practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in either reception or dental assisting and/or be willing to be trained in both areas.

Job Description
  • Provide clinical chairside assistance and support during procedures.
  • Deliver excellent patient care, both in the chair and at reception.
  • Maintain strict sterilisation protocols and a clean, hygienic environment.
  • Manage stock, supplies, and assist with front-desk duties including bookings and patient enquiries.

Qualifications
  • Willingness to learn – Previous knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, or dental software is a bonus, but not essential. We'll provide training and support to help you grow.
  • Great with details – Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask will help you thrive in a busy, supportive clinic environment.
  • People-focused – Excellent communication skills and a caring, positive attitude are what matter most when supporting our patients and team.
  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Receptionist is valued, but we're happy to train the right candidate.
  • Availability for occasional late-night shifts and weekends as required.
