Litigation Graduate Program offering hands-on experience in commercial and tax disputes with mentorship from industry leaders at Aptum.
Your RoleKey responsibilities include :
- Working solely in litigation across various teams and dispute types
- Drafting affidavits, pleadings, and defences
- Organising and attending client conferences
- Reviewing client documents and providing initial advice
- Obtaining FOI documents from the ATO to advise clients
- Attending hearings in the Supreme Court, Federal Court, and AAT
- Drafting briefs to counsel and collaborating on evidence analysis
- Conducting strategic legal research on niche legal points
- Leading execution roles on smaller matters and acting as main client contact
- Working directly with directors and practice leads
The company is looking for :
- Final year law students or recent law graduates
- Individuals interested in a litigation career
- Curious, empathetic candidates who challenge accepted norms in the legal industry
- One-year, full-time graduate program based in Melbourne
- Practical Legal Training (PLT) fully supported by Aptum
