About the Role
To support our growth focused approach, we are seeking an Industrial and LPG Business Development Manager to join our Geelong branch. You will be working closely with the Field Sales Manager and Branch Manager, growing our business and market share in and around the Wodonga region. Previous industry and gas experience is an advantage but not essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Cold calling prospective customers.
  2. Foster and drive our YES WE CAN customer service attitude.
  3. Proven ability to negotiate and 'close the deal'.
  4. Achieve new business sales targets.
  5. Networking relationships with appropriate industry professionals.
  6. Establish new business development strategies.

Skills & Experience

  1. Experience in a similar sales role with gas industry experience would be advantageous.
  2. Candidates who have a passion for sales, including designing call cycles and exploring and exploiting new business opportunities.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication is a key skill to the role with the ability to make a positive impression, exude confidence, develop a rapport with the audience and elicit the desired outcomes.
  4. Flexible and adaptable to handle high pressure situations.
  5. High level of resilience, excellent time management skills, well organised and are natural planners.
  6. Candidates who will be able to embody our 'Yes We Can' ethos
  7. A National Police Check and Demerit Points Statement is required PRIOR to commencement.
