Our in-house engineering and design capability, together with our project delivery, operations and maintenance expertise, positions us strongly in the market. Target project opportunities include Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Wind Projects, as well as Hydrogen and Ammonia projects.

Role and Location

The Project Engineer - Civil will work on our upcoming Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project in Western Australia (WA). This position is site-based FIFO/DIDO in Western Australia.

About the Role

This role focuses on projects with earthworks, in-ground services and civil structures. The primary challenge is to ensure the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet contractual arrangements with the client.

Your duties and responsibilities
  • Planning and conducting professional engineering work without direct supervision
  • Consult, recommend, and advise on specialist engineering areas
  • Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplined design activities
  • Control and manage technical interfaces between disciplines, equipment suppliers and subcontractors
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and the constructability of projects
Your skills and experience
  • Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in Civil / Structural or equivalent
  • Substantial experience in Civil / Structural Engineering of energy/utilities projects
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written), including negotiation and influencing abilities with effective relationships at various levels
