Job Description
How you'll be making an impact in people's lives:
- Undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
- Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
- Identifying barriers and designing, implementing, and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
- Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
- Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA accreditation.
- Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
- The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
- A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers.
- Willingness to work in the community (must have drivers licence and access to own vehicle).
- Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
