We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workday Functional Consultant to join a high-performing team supporting the implementation and optimization of Workday HCM and/or Financials. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and system integrators to ensure Workday solutions are effectively designed, configured, and aligned to business needs.

You will play a key role in translating functional requirements into system configurations, managing testing activities, and supporting go-live and post-deployment operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across relevant Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Time, Talent, Finance)
• Configure Workday solutions based on functional requirements and best practices
• Partner with stakeholders to support system design, validation, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, security, and reporting needs
• Provide expertise on business processes, compliance requirements, and Workday capabilities
• Deliver end-user training and support change management activities
• Support issue resolution, defect triage, and enhancement requests post-go-live
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday releases and functionality to recommend improvements

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Workday Functional Consultant, preferably across full-cycle implementations
• Expertise in one or more Workday modules: HCM, Payroll, Absence, Compensation, Talent, or Financials
• Strong understanding of HR or Finance business processes and system workflows
• Ability to translate business requirements into Workday configurations and functional solutions
• Experience supporting testing, user training, and change management
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Workday certification (desirable) or equivalent hands-on experience
