Overview

The Role

Suitable applicants should be passionate, motivated, and skilled educators who are committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through whole-school approaches, explicit teaching, and instructional strategies. They should have a strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and use data to drive planning. They should be able to address individual student needs within their planning. The majority of roles offered are likely to be Kindergarten to Year One.

Professional Qualities

Applicants should be innovative and contemporary in their teaching practice, able to work collaboratively in a team, and value kindness and care as the underlying approach to building student and staff relationships.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

  • hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment
  • apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start
