The Team & Opportunity
Vanguard seeks a skilled Performance Analyst to join our Investment Performance Analysis & Attribution (PA&A) team in Melbourne. You will contribute to the investment process by delivering accurate, insightful performance analysis to the Investment Management Group (IMG). Responsibilities include resolving complex performance challenges, enhancing attribution models, and driving process improvements. You will also mentor and develop fellow analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and development to other Performance Analysts in measuring, analyzing, and interpreting the investment performance and technical features of Vanguard's Funds, ETFs, and SMAs.
- Deliver and oversee the delivery of accurate performance analysis, reports, and technical requests.
- Research and resolve complex performance issues.
- Develop and lead solutions to complex performance and attribution modeling and process improvements.
- Create insightful analysis and commentary to support Product Management and Distribution.
- Partner with Risk Management Group and Fund Financial Services to ensure an efficient and consistent performance & attribution process.
- Provide Investment Performance expertise to internal and external clients in projects, presentations, and client meetings.
- Review calculation methodologies, researching and updating as necessary.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Financial Services role
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent; Accounting or Finance preferred
- CIPM or CFA qualification preferred
