The Financial Controller for Banking and Financial Services will oversee financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, tax compliance, risk management, and internal control. They will work closely with senior management to ensure financial goals and objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial operations, including financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal financial policies and procedures
  • Provide strategic financial planning and analysis to senior management
  • Coordinate audit process and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Oversee tax compliance, tax planning, filing of tax returns, and handling of tax audits
  • Develop and maintain effective internal control systems
  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with 5 years in senior financial management role in banking and financial services industry
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting standards, principles, and practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of finance professionals
