Join the team

We are looking for experienced leaders to join our stores across the Northern Rivers. This includes Yamba, Ballina, Lismore, Tweed Heads and The Pines, Elanora. Please specify which locations suit you in your application. Department Managers at Kmart live and breathe the Kmart values and are responsible for recruiting, leading, developing and coaching their team members. What you'll be doing
  • Lead and develop a team to achieve store goals
  • Maintain a focus on customer service and store standards
  • Think on your feet and adapt to changing priorities
  • Follow policy and clear processes
  • Be driven and ambitious
  • Demonstrate resilience
To be successful in this role you'll have
  • Experience as a manager across either a big box or high-volume retail environment
  • A passion for delivering results that will motivate your team
  • Experience coaching and leading large and diverse teams
  • Strong commitment to safety, customer focus, and motivating the team to reach higher daily
  • The ability to foster strong relationships with team members, peers, customers and leaders
