The role will travel to clients\' homes across Brisbane Bayside suburbs including Wynnum, Cleveland, Capalaba, Thornlands and surrounds.

About The Role

As a Domestic Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting Home Care clients to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Your work will help promote their health, happiness, independence, and individual preferences.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with household tasks such as meal preparation, bed making, dusting, wiping surfaces, and spot cleaning
  • Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, windows, and floors (sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping)
  • Occasionally providing transport for clients to attend outings, appointments, shopping trips, or respite activities
  • Monitoring clients' wellbeing and promptly reporting any changes to your team leader
  • Communicating clearly and respectfully to foster strong teamwork
  • Accurately completing all required documentation in a timely manner
What we need from you
  • Own vehicle and Australian Driver licence
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • Up to date Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Cleaning experience highly regarded
