Overview

Home Care Workers are needed to join Anglicare Tasmania to support aged community members living in the North West of Tasmania. This role involves providing in-home care and support to help people maintain independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home care and support to aged community members in the North West of Tasmania. Work with purpose to enhance wellbeing and dignity, following Anglicare Tasmania guidelines and care plans.

Qualifications and requirements
  • A caring personality and ability to relate well to people
  • A Cert III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • A Drivers License
  • Tasmania Police Schedule 1 National Police Certificate (no older than 12 months and not an annulled record)
  • Provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after age 16
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment category)
  • Undertake a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical
