As Brock Solutions grows, we are adding talent to our team. We are seeking a Controls Project Manager to join our Brisbane team, working with experienced engineers to implement real-time control systems and automation solutions in a critical operational capacity.

Responsibilities
  • Financial responsibility on projects between $500k and $10M
  • Manage client expectations and communication needs to the project team
  • Manage scope internally (with the project team) and externally (with the client)
  • Manage resource assignments and utilization for all assigned resources
  • Creation and management of project schedules
  • Ensure harmonious working relationships with key partners
  • Identify risks and roadblocks to the successful completion of the project and work with management to resolve
  • Ensure quality of the end solution through implementation of standard project and development processes
Requirements
  • University degree or College Diploma in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related)
  • 3+ years of experience in a Project Management role on controls automation projects
  • Experience managing projects in manufacturing industries is an asset
  • Customer focused and action oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based project environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project is an asset
  • This position requires travel (approximately 30%)
